WHY EGG DONATION?
Egg Donation is a process in which a fertile young woman donates her eggs for others to use in order to create embryos. The gift of your eggs is invaluable to the intended parents, fulfill a family’s dream while fulfilling yours at the same time.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR BECOMING AN EGG DONOR
The acutual Egg Donation process is only a few weeks, but it is important to review the list of Egg Donor qualifications to see if you qualify and get a basic understanding what is expected of you.
• Between 21-28 years old
• BMI between 19 and 29
• Physically and psychologically healthy
• Has both ovaries
• Has regular, monthly menstrual cycles
• Tobacco, drug and alcohol free with no criminal history
• Blood tests and a routine physical will be part of the initial screening process
• Willing to take prescribed medications, including injections
• Not using Depo-Provera injections, Mirena IUD’s or implants as a form of birth control
• No family history of inheritable genetic disorders
